How licensing works
The add-in works with your UzOffice subscription. To link it to your account you need an API key — a secret string you create on the website. You paste the key into the add-in in Word, the add-in verifies it with the server and ties your computer to that key.

1. Create an API key on the website

Open the API Keys page
Sign in to UzOffice and go to uzoffice.uz/api-keys (or choose API Keys in your profile settings).

Click “Create a Key”
The Create API Key dialog opens. In the Label field write which computer the key is for, e.g. “Office PC” or “Home laptop”. The label helps you tell keys apart later.

Click “Create”
The Your key is ready dialog appears.

Copy the key
Click Copy key — the key is copied to the clipboard. If you haven't installed the add-in yet, use Download plugin in the same dialog. Close it with Done.

The key isn't lost when you close the dialog: it is always kept on the API Keys page. There it is masked — the eye icon reveals it and Copy copies it.
No “Create a Key” button?
Without an active subscription the page says “You have no active subscription right now, so no API key is issued” and shows Choose a plan. If you've reached your plan's key limit, you'll see “You have reached the maximum number of API keys allowed”. Upgrade your plan or delete a key you no longer need.
Treat the key like a password. Don't share it: anyone who has it can activate it on their computer and use up your device slots.
2. Activate online in Word

Open the licence window
In Word, click
Litsenziya (Licence) on the Matn tahriri tab. The UzOffice — Litsenziya va faollashtirish (Licence and activation) window opens. -
Paste the key
Paste the copied key into the Litsenziya kaliti (Licence key) field (①) in the Onlayn faollashtirish (Online activation) group: Ctrl+V. Make sure there are no extra characters at the start or end.

Click Faollashtirish
Click Faollashtirish (Activate, ②). The computer must be online. After a few seconds you'll see “Litsenziya muvaffaqiyatli faollashtirildi. Ilovani qayta ishga tushiring.” (Licence activated successfully. Restart the application.)

Restart Word
Close Word completely and open it again. The Yozuvni oʻgirish, Imlo tekshiruvi and Imlo: lotin alifbosi groups now appear.
After activation the add-in re-checks the licence in the background each time Word starts. If there's no internet, it keeps working. If the server rejects the key (for example, it was deleted or has expired), the add-in's features switch off and the reason is shown in the status bar.
Checking licence status
Click Litsenziya any time to see the status:
- The activation type at the top: ● Onlayn faollashtirilgan (online), ● Oflayn faollashtirilgan (offline) or ● Faollashtirilmagan (not activated).
- F.I.Sh — the key owner's name (from your UzOffice profile).
- Tugash sanasi — the date the licence is valid until.
- At the bottom — Plagin versiyasi (add-in version) and a Yangilanishni tekshirish (check for updates) link.
On the website, the API Keys page shows each key's expiry, status and connected computers.
Device limits and switching computers
Each key can be used on as many computers as your plan allows. The first activation ties a computer to the key and takes one slot. Re-activating on the same computer (for example, after reinstalling the add-in) doesn't take another slot.
To see which computers are connected, open Show devices under a key on the API Keys page: each computer's name, Windows and Office version, add-in version and last-used time are listed.
When all slots are taken, a new computer gets “Device limit reached for this API key.” You can then:
- Use another key — if your plan allows several keys, create a separate key for the new computer.
- Disconnect an old computer — you can't remove a device yourself on the website. Write to support and tell them which key and which computer to disconnect; the slot will be freed.
- Replace the key — delete the old key (key menu → Delete) and create a new one. Note: the add-in stops working on every computer that used the deleted key, so they must be re-activated with the new key.
- Upgrade your plan — a bigger plan gives more keys and devices. The new limits apply to keys created after the plan change.
Expiry and renewal
When a key is created it gets your subscription's end date at that moment. After that date:
- when Word starts, the status bar shows “❌ Litsenziya muddati … kuni tugagan.” (licence expired on …) or “❌ Litsenziya faol emas (Expired)…” (licence not active);
- the ribbon goes back to showing only the Yordam and Litsenziya groups. Your documents are not affected.
To use the add-in again:

Renew or change your subscription
Update your subscription on the website.

Create a new key
An existing key keeps the date it was created with, so create a new key on the API Keys page. Expired keys don't count towards your key limit. If the old key is still valid and you've hit the limit, delete it first.

Activate the new key in Word
In the Litsenziya window replace the old key with the new one, click Faollashtirish and restart Word.
Offline activation
If the computer never connects to the internet (for example, on an isolated corporate network), the add-in can be activated offline. Support prepares a special signed key for that specific computer.

Copy the computer ID
In the Litsenziya window, in the Oflayn faollashtirish (Offline activation) group, click Nusxa olish (Copy) next to Kompyuter ID.

Send it to support
Send the computer ID together with your UzOffice account email to support (by Telegram or email — you can do this from another, online device).

Paste the offline key
Paste the long key text you receive, in full, into the large field under Kompyuter ID.

Click Oflayn faollashtirish
When “Oflayn litsenziya faollashtirildi. Ilovani qayta ishga tushiring.” (Offline licence activated. Restart the application.) appears, restart Word.
An offline key works only on the computer whose ID it was made for and has its own expiry date. A computer has one activation type at a time: switching to online activation warns you that the offline licence will be removed (and vice versa).
Activation errors
Server messages are shown in English. Here's what they mean and what to do:
