How it works in Word
For long reports, letters and official documents: convert in one click, then run a spell check.
Word add-in guide- Body text, headings, tables and comments are converted together; fonts, bold and alignment are preserved.
- The ribbon button converts the whole document; for a single paragraph, sentence or word use the right-click menu.
- Don’t like the result? One Ctrl+Z undoes the whole conversion.
- Cyrillic→Latin writes o‘, g‘ and the glottal stop with the characters the spell checker expects, and fixes quotation marks too.
- Spelling marks live on screen only: they aren’t saved to the file and don’t appear in print or PDF.
- Words you add to the dictionary are shared with the Excel and PowerPoint add-ins.

Frequently asked questions
Which Word versions are supported?
Word 2016, 2019, 2021 and Microsoft 365 on Windows 10 and 11 — the desktop version, 32-bit or 64-bit.
Will it break my document’s formatting?
No. Conversion replaces the text character by character: fonts, tables, headings, lists and the rest of the formatting stay in place.
Can I convert just part of the text?
Yes. Select the text, right-click and pick the direction under “Matn tahriri” at the top of the menu. The ribbon buttons convert the whole document.
Do the red underlines end up in the file?
No. The marks are drawn on screen only: the document text doesn’t change, they aren’t saved, they don’t appear in print or PDF, and they don’t affect Ctrl+Z.
Do I need a separate licence for each app?
No. One key covers all three add-ins: activate the licence in Word, Excel or PowerPoint and the other two are active too. All three apps on one computer count as one device.
Does it work on a phone or a Mac?
No, the add-ins are for Office on Windows only: they don’t work on a Mac, phone or tablet, or in Office Online in the browser. There, use the UzOffice web version — it runs in the browser and offers the same conversion and spell-check features.
Are the add-ins free?
Downloading and installing are free. To use them inside Office you need an UzOffice account and an active subscription — the API key comes with it. Registration includes a 7-day trial.
