What appears on the PowerPoint ribbon
Selection, current slide or whole presentation
Select several slides in the thumbnail pane and convert just those. Speaker notes are converted too — you can switch that off.
Spelling — UzOffice marks only
Misspelt words are marked on the slide but never show in the slide show, print or PDF. PowerPoint’s own red underline, which doesn’t know Uzbek, is switched off.
Suggestions on right-click
Right-click a flagged word and suggestions appear at the top of the menu. The word keeps its formatting.

In a presentation, design is everything — the add-in swaps the text but leaves the look of your slides alone.

- Hyperlinks are preserved; web addresses and e-mails aren’t converted.
- Converted text is tagged with the Uzbek language.

Frequently asked questions
Are formatting and links preserved?
Yes. Text is replaced in place, formatting run by formatting run: font, size, colour, bold/italic, shadows and effects, links, bullets and alignment don’t change.
Are speaker notes converted too?
Yes, if “Izohlarni (Notes) ham” is ticked (it is by default). When you switch a presentation to the other script, the notes don’t get left behind.
How do I undo a conversion?
Press Ctrl+Z: the whole conversion is undone in one step. Once the presentation is saved and closed, PowerPoint clears its Ctrl+Z history as usual.
Why did PowerPoint’s own red underline disappear?
It flagged almost every Uzbek word as an error. The add-in switches it off and leaves only the UzOffice marks. It’s an app setting only — nothing is written to the file — and it takes effect the next time PowerPoint starts.
Do I need a separate licence for each app?
No. One key covers all three add-ins: activate the licence in Word, Excel or PowerPoint and the other two are active too. All three apps on one computer count as one device.
Does it work on a phone or a Mac?
No, the add-ins are for Office on Windows only: they don’t work on a Mac, phone or tablet, or in Office Online in the browser. There, use the UzOffice web version — it runs in the browser and offers the same conversion and spell-check features.
Are the add-ins free?
Downloading and installing are free. To use them inside Office you need an UzOffice account and an active subscription — the API key comes with it. Registration includes a 7-day trial.
