Acceptance and parties

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between MIMAX SOFTWARE GROUP, Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan (the “Operator”, “we”), and you, the user of UzOffice (uzoffice.uz).

These Terms are a public offer. By registering an account, using the service or paying for a subscription, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Definitions

Service

The uzoffice.uz website, the web text and spreadsheet editors, the free public converter and the UzOffice add-ins for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Account

Your personal account in the service, created with an email and password or via Google or Telegram.

Content

Documents, spreadsheets, dictionary words and other material you create or upload.

Subscription

The right to use the service for a set period under a chosen plan, including the free trial.

Plan

A set of limits: disk quota, number of documents and spreadsheets, number of add-in keys and devices per key.

Add-in key

A license (API) key created at /api-keys and used to activate the Word, Excel and PowerPoint add-ins.

Account and eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old. Persons under 16 may use the service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Provide accurate information and a working email address; the email address must be confirmed.
• One account is for one person. Do not share your account with others — use the sharing feature to give access to files instead.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for actions taken in your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact support immediately. You can review sign-ins at /Profile/Logs.
• After repeated failed sign-in attempts, sign-in is temporarily locked.

What the service includes

• a web text editor (DOCX) and spreadsheet editor (XLSX);
• conversion between Uzbek Latin, Cyrillic and the new 2026 Latin alphabet (Ö Ğ Ş Ç);
• Uzbek spell check with a personal dictionary;
• sharing files by email or phone number with View or Edit rights, which you can change or revoke at any time;
• a Trash from which deleted files can be restored;
• the UzOffice add-ins for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• interface in Uzbek (Latin and Cyrillic), Russian and English.

Instructions for all features are available in the Help Center. We may improve and change features over time; if a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will notify you in advance.

Free trial, plans and limits

When you register, a free 7-day trial starts automatically. No bank card is required. The trial includes 1 add-in key for 1 device.

Paid plans are priced in Uzbek soums (UZS). Each plan sets limits on:

• disk space;
• the number of documents;
• the number of spreadsheets;
• the number of add-in keys and devices per key.

Current plans, prices and limits are shown in your account before payment. The price shown at the time of payment applies to the period you pay for.

When a subscription ends

• its status becomes “expired”;
• you cannot create new documents or spreadsheets;
• your existing files are not deleted and remain available for download;
• add-in keys expire on the subscription end date.

The Operator may grant subscriptions manually, for example under a separate agreement with an organization.

Payments, renewal and refunds

• Payments are made through Payme or Click. You enter your card details on the payment system’s page; they never reach us.
• There is no automatic renewal. We do not store your card and do not charge it. To continue after the period ends, you pay for a new period yourself.
• The subscription is activated after the payment system confirms the payment.

Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed individually. A refund is possible if:

• a technical failure on our side prevented you from using the paid service; or
• the payment was made by mistake or charged twice.

Send your request to support within 14 days of payment, stating the payment date, amount and payment system. Approved refunds are returned through the same payment system (Payme or Click) that was used for the payment. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Office add-in license and keys

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the UzOffice add-ins for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (the “add-in”) for the duration of your subscription, within your plan’s limits.

• Requirements: Windows 10 or 11; Microsoft Office 2016, 2019, 2021 or Microsoft 365 (desktop Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• The add-in is activated with a key created at /api-keys. Each key has a limit on the number of devices.
• All three add-ins share one license: activating in one of them is enough, and Word, Excel and PowerPoint on one computer count as one device.
• Do not publish your key or give it to people outside your plan. We may block a key that has been shared publicly.
• If your computer cannot connect to the internet, offline activation is available through support: you receive an offline key that works only on that computer.
• The add-in checks for updates automatically. We recommend installing updates.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• store, create or share content that is illegal under the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan or violates the rights of others (including copyright);
• upload malware or files designed to harm the service or other users;
• try to access other users’ accounts or files, or test the service’s security without our written permission;
• bypass plan limits, request limits, the device limit of keys or other technical restrictions;
• send automated mass requests to the free converter, use it as an API for your own products or collect data from the site with scripts (scraping);
• publish, share or sell add-in keys;
• decompile, disassemble or otherwise reverse engineer the add-in, or remove its license protection, except as permitted by law;
• resell, rent out or provide the service to third parties as your own product without a separate agreement with us;
• use the service to send spam or for fraud.

Your content

Your documents, spreadsheets and other content belong to you. We do not claim any rights to them.

You give us a limited permission to store, process, display and transmit your content only as far as needed to operate the service: to save files, show them in the editor, convert and check spelling, and give access to the people you share with. This permission ends when the content or the account is deleted.

You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to use it. When you share a file, the recipient receives the access level you set (View or Edit); you can remove access at any time.

Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Personal Data”. Servers and personal data are stored in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The UzOffice software (the website, editors, converter and the Word, Excel and PowerPoint add-ins), spelling dictionaries and conversion rules, the site design, the UzOffice and O‘zOffice names and logos belong to MIMAX SOFTWARE GROUP or are used by it lawfully. These Terms do not transfer any of these rights to you, except the right to use the service described here.

The service uses third-party components under their licenses; those licenses apply to the respective components.

Availability, maintenance and backups

We work to keep the service available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, failures of hosting or communication providers, or events beyond our control. Where possible, we announce planned maintenance in advance.

Deleted files go to the Trash and stay there until you restore them, delete them forever or empty the Trash. Files deleted from the Trash cannot be restored.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access to the account, block add-in keys or delete the account if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service and other users. Where possible, we will warn you first and explain the reason, and give you the opportunity to download your files, unless this is prohibited by law or would create a security risk.

You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, write to support; what is deleted is described in the Privacy Policy. Unused subscription periods are not refunded, except as described in the “Refunds” section.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. Conversion between scripts and spell check are automated tools; they may make mistakes, so review important texts before use.

To the extent permitted by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

• we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data caused by the use of the service or its temporary unavailability;
• our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the period in which the claim arose;
• we are not liable for losses caused by your breach of these Terms, the disclosure of your password or key, or the actions of third parties (including Google, Telegram, Payme and Click).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot be limited under the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms. Where reasonable, we will announce material changes in advance by email and/or on the site. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page. If you continue to use the service after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service and, if necessary, ask us to delete your account.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

If a dispute arises, please contact support first — we will try to resolve it through negotiation. If this is not possible, the dispute is resolved in the courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Operator’s location (Tashkent), subject to the rules of the consumer protection law.
