е/ё/ю/я, ц, the soft sign and the apostrophe (’) are converted by the rules — not letter by letter.

Private

Your text is not stored — it is used only for the conversion.

New alphabet

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which letters changed in the new Latin alphabet?
Four: O‘ → Ö, G‘ → Ğ, Sh → Ş, Ch → Ç. All other letters and the apostrophe (’) stay the same.
Will the current Latin alphabet be abolished?
Not immediately. Documents issued in the current alphabet before the law takes effect remain in circulation; the transition is gradual.
What if the text mixes Cyrillic and Latin?
No problem: each word's alphabet is detected and converted to the one you choose.
How do I convert a Word document?
Open it in the online editor and use the buttons on the “Analysis & Translation” tab, or use the Word add-in — formatting is preserved.
Is my text stored?
No. The text is sent to the server only for the conversion and is not stored anywhere.
When does the new alphabet take effect?
The amendments to the law were approved by the Senate. The effective date will be officially announced.
